Pimp your LG Cookie with iPhone theme and flash lite

A few steps to install a custom flash theme so your cookie will look like a iPhone and as a bouns you can install flash lite apps and games.

This involves quite a few hacking actions so don't do this if you're not sure how to perform these steps or you can mess up your cookie.

Steps

Install the usb flash driver for the cookie

Download it from here http://lguiwiki.free.fr/download/Setup.exe
Also check that your lg cookie usb connection is set as 'mass storage' not to the lg pc suite.

Download a custom image with LGUI

Download lgui from here http://lguiwiki.free.fr/doku.php?id=en:software:main

Download kp500.flb file here http://depositfiles.com/en/files/6s75b1hun

Open LGUI, select KP500 download, select the kp500.flb file in the flb path, next select a filename where you want to store your custom image.
Next select CUST in the section.
Next press download button and connect your phone (phone on off) to your usb port.

After a while the download starts, it took more than 10 minutes to make the backup. (128 MB)

Change the image

Download WinImage (winimage85.exe or .zip) trial here http://www.winimage.com/download.htm

- Start Winimage, open your custom image (File -> open -> choose the image created in the step above).
- Select the file lgapp -> dmf -> Idle_Widget.dmf
- Inject the file with the file with same name supplied in the iphone/... folder.
- Replace the file.
- Save the image.

Upload the image

Open LGUI, select KP500 upload, select the kp500.flb file in the flb path, next select the filename of the changed custom image created in the step above.
Next select CUST in the section.
Next press upload button and connect your phone (phone on off and battery/sim/memorycard removed) to your usb port.
Again this took less than 10 minutes to flash the memory.

Upload the custom files

Connect your phone as a mass storage device.
Next upload the files supplied in the iphone folder (except tutorial folder) to your FlashContents folder on the cookie.

Disconnect your cookie, reinsert battery, sim and memorycard.

And turn on your phone.

Add your own apps

Edit the file custom.xml in FlashContens.
Upload your swf file to FlashContents/custom and rename your file to the number supplied in custom.xml.

Now you are able to install most flash and flash lite files on your mobile phone.

Hey, you've got a little iPhone which runs adobe flash lite, even the real stuff can't do this.
